Steal This Mix!

Saturday night I DJ’d my old neighbor’s long-standing Cinqo de Mayo party in Brooklyn… the first time I’d been able to attend in years. Had an absolute blast. Put together the following mix, which I’m now wishing I had taped. But I didn’t, so feel free to steal it and use it at your own party. Believe me, it works! (Astute observers may note that the BPMs rise from 100-127BPM over the course of the mix.)

Nice one! I bet it went over a treat.
Are you sure you weren’t listening to “Forward in All Directions” (on WDST-FM) around 1994? With the exception of the Future Funk track (2000), these were all firm faves on the overnights until ’96

Shameless plug: There’ll be a bunch of these sorts of things at the big, huge, enormous Music Yardsale in Woodstock Memorial Day Weekend.

I’ll be selling records despite the fact that my Swindon Town Robins will be playing Millwall at Wembley on Saturday for promotion to the Championship.

I know your record sale, it’s hard to miss. I’ll see if I can’t get over this weekend. ANY team playing Millwall has my support. Good luck!
