Matinee releases? Holy summer cardigans, Tony’s hittin’ the twee! So what do you think of the Lucksmith’s latest? Ever see them live? Interesting stand up drumming front man thing going on and very vibrant.

Matinee sent me a bunch of albums, and though they’re all twee, some are only twee, as opposed to Twee. The Lucksmiths definitely fall into the former: I love ‘The Chapter Of your Life ENtitled San Francisco.’ I’d like to find time to give it a proper review but you know that’s proving hard right n ow. Like the idea of the front man, too. Let me know when they play… um, not that I’ll be in the neighborhood any more!!

    Cheers

I’m very glad ‘Black’ made your playlist, ‘cos I’m pleased with it, and pleased to break out from the ‘folky’ tag for a second and relive some dubby feeling. For those that are interested there’s a page up on my website about the release, including an mp3 or two…..

My art teacher played keyboard for JD Blackfoot. I used to paint to this song all of the time…..and still actually……it’s a great song.
    Peace,
    HEather
