You Have To Laugh
1) From a New York Times report on a frenzy of Saturday night shootings across the city. (A heatwave does funny things to people.)
“The police said two men were sitting in a car at West 204th Street and Vermilyea Avenue when an unidentified man walked up and opened fire, striking the man in the driver’s seat, Pablo Rodriguez, 24. Though badly wounded, he managed to drive to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia nearby, where he was pronounced dead, the police said.”
Either he was a bloody good driver, or that’s a bloody bad hospital.

Osama bin Laden tried to buy a massive amount of cocaine, spike it with poison and sell it in the United States, hoping to kill thousands of Americans one year after the 9/11 attacks, The Post has learned.
Wait, back up. “Spike it with poison?” What did Bin Laden think drug dealers were doing with their cocaine? Selling it uncut?
